Founder and Executive Creative Director of TASK, the interior design company is her love child and will one day be the legacy she leaves behind. Born out of a love for beautiful things and fond childhood memories of her aunt styling their home in the beautiful Limpopo Province, Mali has built the business from the ground up chasing a dream, whilst furthering her reputation as a strong black female business leader. In only a few short years Mali has propelled TASK Interior Styling into multiple award-winning status and continues to push the envelope for advancements and fresh innovations in the interior design landscape.

Whilst her day-to-day activities revolve around developing the TASK interior design portfolio as well as the TASK Collections & Designs commercial offering, she also acts as head stylist and international tastemaker. Her design inspirations stem from a love of travel, picking up styling ideas from all four corners of the world and combining them with her particular flair and love of colour and contemporary style.

An Executive Personal Assistant who’s educational experiences have resulted in him being a driven, dedicated and determined individual. He strives to improve himself and gain further experience in a new environment. Khayalethu strives to focus on exceeding expectations for customer service delivery while ensuring & enhancing a positive brand impact. He possesses interpersonal skills, endurance, boldness, and both written as well as verbal communication skills. Working very well with others and easily interact with new people. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, which was completed in 2019 at Varsity College. Khayalethu enjoys a good binge on great television with appreciation of the film arts outside of work.

Keeping the team smiling and looked after, Thabo is a qualified human resources manager with many years of experience in HR and office administration. Thabo’s extensive knowledge of South African labour law legislation and his previous administrative positions have set him up to be excellent at fulfilling his responsibilities which include HR , office administration, procurement of candidates for the ever-growing TASK team, and customer relations and stock management for the online shop, among various other duties.

Omphile is an ambitious and committed person, striving to achieve company goals through innovation and integrity.  A qualified Professional Accountant registered with South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA). He holds a postgraduate qualification in Financial Accountancy from Northwest University. He got his start in the accounting industry when he was a junior trainee accountant at an accounting firm. During his internship he learned to communicate with clients, leading to long term-term trusting relationships. He has been meeting the accounting needs of corporations and individuals for the past 5 years. His role is to ensure that financial transactions are accurately represented and check ongoing and incoming transactions, making careful records for all expenses for financial reporting purposes. Additionally, he summarized and analysed all financial documents to prepare on financial status during management meetings.

Mbuyelo is an admitted attorney who obtained his Legum Baccalaureus (LLB) Degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2018. Most recently, he has broadened his knowledge in Estate Planning and Trust law and gained some exposure in corporate law. His main areas of focus span across all areas of the law in general. He has extensive experience in the following aspects of the law: General Litigation, Civil Law, Family Law, Criminal Law, Labour Law, Law of Contracts, as well as the conducting of complex Legal Research.

Jay is a seasoned Manufacturing Manager with over 10 years of experience in the furniture manufacturing industry. He focuses on driving business strategy by contributing to effective production planning, inventory management, and team leadership. In his previous role at a leading furniture manufacturer with over 100 retail stores, Jay had great exposure to residential, corporate and retail markets, where he successfully implemented process improvements that increased productivity by up to 25% with associated gains in revenue. Jay is passionate about lean manufacturing principles and making a significant contribution to value stream.
